This week in P6H we were applying all the learning we have been doing in class maths – how to plan and make bar and line graphs. We had to choose a research question, ask our classmates to collect data and then present the information in a suitable graph. There were some interesting questions being asked!
Monday 4th October
This week in P6H we have loved finding out more about our class novel, The Girl of Ink and Stars! We have had to stop on some cliff hangers, which nobody liked – we all wanted to find out more! Our comprehension work has helped us to understand the story better and we are trying hard to write our answers in full, detailed sentences.
This week we started researching different Paralympic Sport in topic. We have been trying to find out the rules of the sports and well as how they have been adapted for athletes with different disabilities. We have even learned about new sports that we hadn’t heard of before like Boccia and Goalball!
P6M have been working on their touch rugby attacking and defending skills in PE this week. We have had lots of fun learning how to tackle and sta
rting to play some mini games. We are working hard on trying not to pass the ball forward.
Monday 14th September
P6 Writing this week – we’ve been exploring sensory descriptions. We were in the jungle and on a beach and looked at different ways we can take our reader there too! We used PadLet to share all our ideas!

This week in P6H we had a great time trying different athletic sports! Active Schools came in on Thursday and showed us how to improve our techniques in a range of activities.
